Misc Shower

I had my second shower. Penny and Amanda N. gave me a misc shower. I received lots of nice things. White dishes, chopping board, candles, shower wrap, mixing bowls, picture frames, kitchen utensils...all kinds of nice things that I can't wait to use. We also had an improptu fitting of the bridesmaid dresses. Mrs. Carolyn, Allen's mom, is going to hem the dresses for us....THANK YOU! I'm not sure if she realizes what a huge task she has taken on, but it sure beats having to pay $25 for a hem.

Allen and I are excited that we will have a new and bigger home to live in when we are married. A family's friend is moving out of her home and has agreed to rent to us. We are so excited. Just as soon as we get the go ahead we will begin moving Allen in. So on top of wedding stuff we will also be moving. Talk about stress!!! But very much welcomed stress.

As of today there are only 75 more days to the wedding. So much yet to be done for this wedding to be pulled off nicely.

Less than 3 months away!

The wedding is in less than 3 months! I find myself wishing it would hurry up one minute and then saying I need more time the next. The wedding has actually gotten out of hand. I started off wanting a simple but elegant wedding. Although I have cut a lot of costs, I still have spent a lot on this wedding. My motto is, "I'm only getting married once, so I mine as well do it right the first time." I have often thought we should have went away somewhere and gotten married. It would have been cheaper and fun! But I would have so many people mad at us if we did not have a wedding they could attend. Any hoo.... like I said the wedding is in less than 3 months so I will press on.

The bridesmaid dresses came in last week. They look great!

Can't wait til everything comes together.
